We stayed in Welgelegen during our trip to Cape Town. The hotel is beautiful and I cannot express how wonderful all the staff at the hotel were. Prince and Memory were always attentive and gave the best recommendations of restaurants to visit. The staff were all very friendly. The breakfast offered at Welgelegen was delicious. We had a lovely view of Cape Town and to the side Table Mountain from our balcony. The room was clean and functional. We had great lighting thanks to the ample amount of windows in the room. I would definitely stay at Welgelegen again.

The rooms are exceptionally well done and very comfortable. The staff are very pleasant, can't say enough about Prince, Memory and Jimmie. They all are over the top in service. The kitchen staff is amazing, thank you for great breakfasts. The room staff can't stop saying it they were great. My wife and I stayed a week there and had a very pleasant stay, for sure. Looking forward to our next visit to Cape Town.

Charming and beautiful guest house with breakfast service. Weather was divine so we had breakfast by the pool. Rooms are adorable and the bathroom is fantastic, loved my bath in the tub! The staff is absolutely incredible and is ready whenever you arrive. Everything runs so easily and effortless there. Loved this stay.

Memory welcomed us from the beginning of our arrival she was such a lovely woman and the room was absolutely beautiful. The service and food were very nice. We will have an amazing and unforgettable memory of our honeymoon thanks to Memory and her great team.

If you read my reviews you will know that I am critical when it's needed. Quite simply if you need a place to stay in Cape Town that's near the city's restaurants but is also peaceful then this is it. Food is great, nothing is too much trouble for the staff, smiles are plentiful because people like working here. Rooms are unique and clean. Just book folks you won't regret it.
