Wanted to try this place after seeing it on Somebody Feed Phil. It has lots of delicious treats inside from fresh baked banana bread, croissants and Much more.

The food was delicious but served items that were not fresh. Sharing images of the dried out tomatoes. That’s not nice.

Also, the problem is with the service which was very slow and we had to check up on the food but no one told is it was taking a while. Wont be running back anytime soon.

When we arrived there, their waiter said their menu is not updated, so we couldn't get certain items ( vegan items). Portion size is great u0026 quite filling. Food was tasty but the eggplant Parmigiano was very oily as seen on photo. My favorite part about this restaurant is beautiful view of table mountain and delicious cappuccino.

Please update your menu and provide more veg options.

Not a great experience at all! I ordered the hash browns with a poached egg and hollandaise sauce. I understand it’s a Saturday but waited 30 minutes for my food to arrive. When I finally got it there was no bacon or hollandaise sauce. The two reasons I ordered that meal. Everything on the menu is over priced and the portions are embarrassingly small. R28 for a flat white is really pushing it too. There are much better options around steer clear of Melissa’s. It’s a rip-off.

Updated review: Not impressed with the hike in prices. Bold sign outside declares "come in and try our new menu!!". Unfortunately the only thing new is the price of the vegan breakfast from R89 to R129.
Wait time for 2x breakfasts has been 15min so far and the restaurant is around 20% full.

Sorry guys, it's been a good run, good views and people, but gonna have to go elsewhere. I'm priced out your market :(

The VX vegan breakfast is a winner. Consistently good and insane value for money in terms of the amount of food you get. 10/10

Wonderful location on the trendy Kloof Street... Food always fresh and amazing.. Service was a bit shakey on this visit (peak breakfast time).. But otherwise it's always knowledgeable and speedy.. ????

Great little space. Sadly the manger don't always know what's going on and the owner is not really ever involved. The food is great quality for price and portions tend to be good. Sometimes there are no staff to be found. The view is amazing! The vegan breakfast is the best in cape town. Good spot to work with good coffee.

Just had time for a bunless vegan burger. Very tasty. Friendly service. Sat on outside deck. One of the best views of Table Mountain in Cape Town.
