One of my favourite centres, it's small and accessible. I especially love the upgraded Pick n Pay and Woolworths. If possible, woolies, should also expand.

Great Estate in Highveld where you experience great hospitality from the workers starting from the security at the gate they are so good in giving you right directions if you don't know the house you are visiting

Nice little mall. But, the car beggars (they aren't guards, they are beggars) are a major pain in the backside. Southdowns never used to have car guards, which was great, but a few years ago allowed these useless beggars - they don't really serve any other purpose, except for begging - to contaminate the parking lot. There far too many highly annoying and aggressive car guards, accosting you and even becoming aggressive. These louts are also seemingly ignorant of the rules of the road. Will jump out in front of you and stop a whole queue of cars to allow one parked vehicle to reverse out, instead of, as usual, just waiting until the queue passes. One of these useless individuals started chirping my son, a student, who didn't have cash on him. Get rid of these annoying beggars, please SouthDowns. They are too many of them, they are too aggressive and highly irritating and they make one dread parking at your mall.

Southdowns Shopping Center is right opposite me. There's positives and negative aspects to SDC.
It's clean and neat with a big variation of shops and good restaurants. The Woolworth is sharp, good stocked but still limited on certain products/ranges.
The wellness warehouse is legit and I buy quite a lot of "things" from there.
Most negative aspect is the PnP. I can't deal with it. I personally just don't like it.
Parking can also be a bit of an issue.

Expect for clothing, there's a wide variety of stores and restaurants. Clean safe parking. Doppio zero my personal biggest attraction.

Very serene place to shop for home essentials and they also have nice restaurants
