Hole is the Wall, is situated at the far end of the tidal pool and is accessible from Thompson’s Bay Beach.
The hole in the wall allowed you access to the next beach and it is possible to walk through to Ballito main beach.
The tidal pool at Hole in the Wall is well maintained, with a lifeguard tower and toilets.
This tidal pool has a variety of coral and fish. So great place to snorkel.

Hole in the wall was a really nice site to visit. We didn't swim but popped in as we were in the area. The hole in the wall feels as if you are entering into this mystical side of the beach. There are some great views to be had on top of the hill. I would suggest visiting this area. The beach does need a bit of a clean as there was quite a bit of rubbish. Hopefully that will be sorted soon.

What a nice experience seeing this magnificent place. Would have loved to explore the rest of the beach but it was to hot. Definitely on my to do list in July

Very nice area to see and explore there is ablutions for women and men the pool got a variety of fishes swimming around and one can snorkel and have a wonderful day at this place, be prepared to climb a bit of stairs, not too bad actually.

This is such a beautiful place???? the beaches were clean and not overly busy. There's a big tidal pool and walking through the hole made for lovely pictures.It was a little difficult to find parking but definitely worth a visit.

Definitely worth a visit, however, I would avoid Hole in the Wall on Public Holidays as it gets overly crowded.
Scenic views and a swift walk to the other beach.
Very nice location for a few photos.
Be sure to hang on to kids and older individuals as it can get slippery.
Go early morning and watch the sunrise and enjoy a dip in the tidal pool.

Nice photo opportunity next to Thompson's Bay Tidal Pool which is the real star. Nice clear water with constant in- and outflow. Swim or snorkel with some fishes in the pool as well.
