Lovely location. Rooms are nice. Foods nice. Tranquil. Zulu massage was amazing! Only issue I had was the staff having their conversations in the service areas behind my bathroom and the sound coming through the vents at 6:30am and the waiters need to be trained, drinks take forever to arrive and I kept having to stand up to find one. This is not up to standards expected from this hotel and has been better.

Lovely hotel and absolutely fantastic food. Our dinner was fantastic with the best snails in blue cheese as a starter, and their chicken and prawn curry was outstanding. Friendly, helpful staff, and Patrick, our waiter, was absolutely lovely. Our room is comfy, nice hot shower, and a beautiful sea view from our verandah. Would love to come and stay here again.

My home away from home. I just love everything about this hotel and Timeshare. Service is outstanding. People ever so friendly. Good food. Great place to be with family and friends. Love my time here every year.

We went for Sunday lunch. They serve a delicious roast for R98.00 which is very reasonable. Hubby ate the prawn curry which he said was delicious. Overall great service, good food and a beautiful view whilst eating your lunch.

Beautiful old hotel. Old world atmosphere. Lovely pub lounge and dining room. I really love the place. Want to go there for a holiday soon.

Love the views of the ocean from the terrace of Salt Rock Hotel. The food is not too bad either!! We enjoyed oysters, chicken and prawn curry, as well as peri peri chicken. Highly recommend this grand old dame on the Dolphin coast.

Quite frankly, this is probably the worst “hotel” I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are clean, just ok. The service on the other hand leaves much to be wanted. The food was rubbish at the best of times but because you’ve waited a good 45-60mins for a burger, you just eat it. We were gave the restaurant multiple opportunities to fix things but were left wanting over and over. I’ll never be back.
