Very bad experience at it highest level

It was our first time going there we went there for a birthday outing with my family. We are never going back there.

The food was bad tasteless very poorly presented and I asked for beef stew and got bones and oily pieces of lamb fat.It was suppose to be a good and relaxing birthday outing but was a worst restaurant ever.They served wrong meals in broken/cracked salad dish and raw steam bread not to mentioned the pizza which came 1 piece by 1 piece cold looking like remaining of someone.The food and standard of this place is not good at all.Stuff needs training on on customer etiquette they were fighting exchanging words in front of customers.My husband was served chicken curry which looked like left overs very dry and with lot of bones.

Juices were very weak ..no wonder they say you drink it unlimited which I feel there is no way you can take more

The person who received us looked dirty at the entrance and the place looked very unpleasant.
I wont recommend this place to anyone looking to have a good time with family...

Waiter was amazing, food on the other hand was really bad. Over cooked roasts, salty hake, hot foods served cold, dry desserts and it goes on. One would think that a restaurant located in such a prime location would have standards but clearly this isn't the case. With only a few items on the menu, is it that difficult to take some pride and professionalism in preparating the meals. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with the meals. Definitely will not recommend this place and neither will I return.

I would not even give this place a one star rating if i had it my way! Firstly the managers attitude is pathetic, we called in on Monday to find out what was on the menu so we called two times the second time was to make a reservation! And on both occasions we was not advice about the closing times even though on the site it says 21:30. It was my dad's birthday so my family drove all the way from chatsworth to Durban for supper. We got there just before 19:30 the waitress advised us they close at 20:00 we told her okay on the site it says 21:30 she said we must speak to the manager gosh worse mistake ever. She had a dont care attitude it literally felt like this lady was being racist! And we asked her can we at least be there for an hour she refused she turned down 7 people! And I would never recommend this place to anyone they have no humanity towards anyone.

Food was good although desserts were sad. I felt buffet selection not worth it's price tag.

One of two scenarios could help?
Lower the buffet price for what is being offered or increase what is being offered for the current price.

Lastly, kitchen staff need to pay more attention to customer service, I felt like I was waiting in a line at a soup kitchen.

Overhaul, it was an OK experience, I did have high hopes, but perhaps I set my own bar too high...

it was our first time visiting this restaurant and most certainly our last. we got to the entrance where a lady named Phindlie i think was sitting. we asked to see ths menu and she glared at us. she threw the menu at us and seemed very frustrated. we asked why she was behaving this way with us as we were first timers and from.out of town. she was extremely rude and acted like she didnt care what was happening. we asked to speak to the manager and when we met with hi. we explained what happened and he said he will address it but i hardly believe he was going to. i hope the owner of this place reads this and addresses this matter. disgusted. never again. we refused to eat there and just left

The place needs a revamp a chef to take over.. Considering that it's at the heart of a tourist attraction is very shocking. The food is basic, they have a few salads, the sea food is kept in dodgy corner, they didn't have gin *Gordon's gin is the only gin they serve*, on the menu they say you can buy a bottle of winewat R110 but they didn't have bottled wine, their cocktails, the cocktails are awful, the bar is sad!!
