My colleague and myself stayed at the Hillside for a night whilst on business in Umhlanga - wish I could have staged longer. Ina is such an amazing hostess, all of our needs were taken care of and we lacked for nothing. So peaceful and comfortable I would definitely recommend Hillside Guesthouse for a short or long stay. We had a wonderful stay at Hillside Guesthouse. The rooms are beautiful decorated with great sea views. You are also just a few minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. I can highly recommend this Guesthouse and must be one of the best 4 star Graded establishments.

Neat , clean and Aesthetically appealing .
Love the views , the tranquility and serenity of the guesthouse .

Awesome Bu0026B. Ina and Eugene are great hosts and very helpful and friendly. Great staff very friendly. Everything works and always clean.
I always stay here when in KZN. Highly recommend this establishment.

Beautiful place, the owners are warm and welcoming. They are attentive to their guests, always making sure they are happy and go out of their way to make them happy. The rooms are different depending on which one you pick. There bigger rooms have both a bath tub and a shower and are very spacious. The smaller ones are not as spacious but you can move about.
The place has a pool also. My only problem was that the place is quite hidden so on the way you doubt if you're still heading towards the right direction especially if you're traveling at night. I would suggest you try to find the place during the day then go about your way knowing that you're going in the right direction. The breakfast is standard but doesn't take away from the fact that it is quite nice.
