This place is a scam altogether!

What you see on the website is completely different from what you get, firstly the prices don't match, the options are confusing, the client services is poor, the stuff is incompetent they barely understand what they are doing.

I was misinformed by an agent who was assisting me to book a room at Homii Maison De Chet Ê in Durban, I paid R5545 only to find out that I'll be sharing the apartment with 5 other people and I was booked into an apartment with males, I'm a female this is uncomfortable.

Prior to moving in I called multiple times and sent an email just to be sure that everything is sorted when I arrive there'll be someone to assist, no one picked up the phone or responded to my email.

Right now I owe R500 for moving in before the first of the month and no one told me this, when I did my booking I selected the move in date which is two days before the first and the total was R5545 so apparently the pro rata fees had not been accounted for so I need to pay more which will amount to R6045 for an apartment I share with 5 men, ridiculous!!

It's been over 3 hours and I have been waiting at the reception for someone who's going to help me change into another room.

My best advice is before you move in come and view the flat and only make a payment once you're sure otherwise the refund takes up to 7 days and they deduct 20% from the booking fees.

I had the most horrible moving in and staying experience at Homii Manhattan. Took up to 4 hours for me to be moved into the building and once I got to my room it was dirty and unkept as if I had not pay for it upfront. The noise is HORRIBLE, tenants are inconsiderate of other People and no curfew or rules exist governing this. Doing your laundry in the building is a nightmare and is kinda expensive. Would not recommend for a long time stay.

The building is old and not maintain and the rent they charge is expensive given the poor condition of the place. Most of their rooms have linking bathroom facilities. The building care taker she is arrogant doesn't listen to the grievances of the tenant. I will not recommend anyone to stay in this place.

Homii is a scam, not what you see on their website is actually true. Prices done match the apartment, too expensive for small space. terrible customer service. They don't abide to own Terms and Conditions, they will never assit you if it's not beneficial to them. Terrible Management never cares for its customers

I guess homii its beautiful but not as good as they say. Management does not respect their tenant or care. U may stay with them for many year they will never value. They will treat u like trash and make you feel that. I will not recommend anyone to value homii as place to be. They will cut your entry access within 15min u have not made payment. That's when u feel like your trash. Their entrance its always condjusted u not feeling free to enter their building neither safe.

Worst move in experience ever. I had to take my stuff from the gate up to 3rd floor with the help of the security, which i had to pay afterwards! Door was not opening. I had to sit on the floor outside my already paid for room!!! Do not recommend

Great place to stay, neat and tidy, friendly staff and very affordable.
I'm just having difficulty with your App. Can't seem to make a new booking...
The App doesn't work properly :(
