A well appointed store, spacious and clean. There is plenty of demo stock on display for us to play around with and get acquainted.
A busy repair department which seems to occupy most of the staff.
This makes it difficult to attract the attention of a staff member when wanting to make a purchase. This has resulted in me personally leaving the store and coming back when it’s quieter. Not always ideal when pushed for time

The staff are doing their best and I appreciate their patient assistance. However, this place is very poorly run. The staff are running around trying to handle 10 things at once while customers stand around awkwardly waiting for assistance. If you are going to create an environment which forces customers to engage with someone to make a purchase, then you need a proper system to manage that - otherwise it's just a terrible experience.

I went to the store at 1pm on the 18/10/2022 and was told that they were overbooked and I should return later . When I did return 2 hours later,there was a person available but she totally ignored me standing right in front of her and assisted the couple that walked into the store afterwards . After reading the reviews of the store I understand that this is not something new to this store . I wish I read this first I could have saved myself the embarrassment . I got My iphone Pro max 13 at another store for much more but great customer service . Thank you for nothing istore Gateway .

Very upset with the lack of service received. Have visited the store multiple times and each time the service quality gets worse. Stood in the store for almost 15 minutes today without receiving any assistance from the staff to purchase an item.

Worst experience. Nobody at store is competent and all lack customer service. Waited 10min at the till point. No cashier available. We asked many of the staff and all said that they busy and we must wait. We left the item and walked out. This is my second experience at the Gateway store. Apple, please ensure that you have competent staff available that also know basic customer service.

I guess all the people that goes there and give it's a low rating is right for doing so the consultants are amazing don't get me wrong but I've been there for times in 2 weeks and no one told me that when u doing an upgrade u would need to have 250 Rands service fee I was only asked to bring in an id and proof of address not a service fee that's not on and once again I'm saying I've been there 4 times up and down they don't even accept a driver's license

Corporate minded staff, who will judge you on your appearance when you want to purchase a phone, you will be placed a side in hopes “you go away” they will not give you the time of day, until they see that you’ve bought before and that it’s a cash sale .Miracles begin to happen and staff are now willing to help.Give this store a skip they judge you on wealth appearance rather than account wealth.
