The food looks very good and so beautifully prepared, but the main course really wasn't good at all. The sauce in which it was cooked is not good at all and spoils everything. Ocean Basket is way better when it comes to seafood.
The sushi and the desert were very good though and the staff friendly.

Came to John Dorys 29/12/21, place not filled to capacity, sushi bar filled with sushi going around the bar, yet we were told that we would have to wait for 20 minutes to order sushi and after ordering our starter we were then told that we must wait 2 hours for sushi as its half price sushi Wednesday and that we should order from the main menu. What sort of establishment is this? If you can't keep up just close down. 4-5 sushi chefs and over an hour gone now with our order, this is real discrimination.

A waste of hard earned cash and calories.

The restaurant was filthy and everything smells of pee including the waiter.
Being a tourist, I was totally disgusted.
Sadly, I was forced to stay because of 3 hungry children and did not have the energy to search for Ocean Basket which was our preference, maybe we should have spent a further 10 mins walking around.

Ordered the platter special, and clearly they don't know how to grill seafood as everything was overcooked. However the deep fried orders were much better.

I can't even talk about how my mums tea arrived and how she had to convince the waiter to bring her another tea bag because she wanted a stronger cup of tea.
It's just sad, really really sad.

Absolutely fantastic service and great seafood! My wife and I enjoyed the best spring rolls with hake bites, toped that with extremely well made sole and 15 of the tastiest prawn! Sauces for the food complimented the food extremely well! This place is a casual place and very Family friendly! JDS you will see me and my wife very soon! Thanx for a good experience!
