It was my first time to Kalamata Greek Restaurant. A friend of my cousin had done the booking and I was a bit sceptical and apprehensive ro start with. We normally frequent the other restaurants in the complex. We sat outside the restaurant waiting for some friends to join, who had nipped downstairs to watch a game on TV. Sadly we could not log in to the wifi. Whilst sat outside and ordering beverages, there was a large party of people with what seemed like a dozen kids dining. After they had eaten their meal, the music started up and the staff started clapping and dancing round the table with the guests joining in and then throwing down and breaking special plates. The kids and adults loved this. So we knew we were in for a treat. We then went and sat at our table and ordered beverages. After a while we ordered our starters and meals. The service was more than good. Food was very tasty and there was a slight mix up with our orders. I had ordered the Mousaka, but instead got a dish with pasta instead of Aubergine/ eggplant. The dishes are served in the same dishes, so I was not aware of what was what and started tucking in. Halfway through the meal, it was pointed out to me that I was eating someone elses dish. I did not have a problem with the mix up as I was savouring every morsel. The pirtion was just a bit small for my liking, but I would just order an extra starter and or desert. There were certainly no complaints from our table apart from the mix up of the dishes. Then came our turn to dance around the table and smash the special plates so not the table wear used to serve food. It was great fun. We will certainly be back.
