I absolutely love Waxy's.
Incredible service, delicious food and a wide variety of drinks. They have the biggest selection of on tap beers I've seen on the coast.
The cocktails are mostly gin based, but I suppose people don't really go for the cocktails.
A great chilled pub with comfy seating and great atmosphere.

We came for the Sunday lunch for the first time since moving to Umhlanga and it was great value for money and absolutely delicious. Phone ahead to check what roast meat they are serving if you have a specific diet.

Definitely worth a visit.

I keep coming back to this place. Large spaces perfect for groups of people. Enough TVs around if you just want to catch the sport. Great for an afternoon lunch or just a draft.

Great vibe, indoor and outdoor seating, live music, awesome staff, food was delicious and by far the best I have been to in the area, value for money, specials, promotions and many more that you can expect from Waxys Sunningdale

Tank beer and burgers. Oh my the burgers. The beer was really surprising great, it's Castle Lager, but good. The burgers on the other hand were fantastic. Service was brilliant and while we hadn't reserved a table as they were already fully booked when called, they sat us at the bar and before we had finished our first drinks, we had a table and had ordered. All this on a Wednesday when they have there 2 burgers and 2 beers special. I have to go back for more.

It's a good pub, but it's not a fine dining experience. With this in mind the food was pretty good (baskets). However, limited supply of various beers was an issue on the night. It seemed like they had a supply issue (big party on the weekend?), but they need to sort that out.

Great service from friendly staff, indoor and outdoor seating with live music over weekends. Food is good especially the Sunday lunch. Additionally they have a large selection of beer on tap

Great burger evening on Wednesday, two burgers and beer for R149. Really good value just make sure you come in twos, for the deal to work as you can’t get takeaway. Also make sure you book on a Wednesday as it pumps and is such a nice vibe. Fresh beers in tanks which is delicious
