A lovely seated or takeaway restaurant. A wonderful establishment with a long standing history of amazing food. The prices are affordable with set menus in place for seat in menus. There is a set 7 course menu for R 87 which is amazing considering the food is excellent. Definitely value for money. Definitely a must try when in Umhlanga.

I wish i could give a minus star rating!

My partner ordered on Delivery Extreme as its supposed to be easy and our night off. Not only did the restaurant take about an hour to prepare our food but when it arrived it was absolutely disgusting.

If you have ever had Chicken Chow Mein u0026 Sweet u0026 Sour Pork before you would know what it is supposed to look like, when we opened the polystyrene take away trays and saw the dull, half cooked, very bland looking food inside it left a bad taste in our mouthes without even tasting it. After trying to get over the appearance of the food and actually taking a bite, not only did did we immediately regret it but we actually called Delivery Extreme and asked them to send their driver back to collect the food as we would rather not eat.

That just-like-in-movies family-run restuarant. With that really old couple (man behind the counter, woman chatting with customers). I absolutle loved the vibe. The prices are very reasonable and a little buck goes a long way. Will definitely eat here again.

One of the best Chinese restaurants I have been to. This is a family run branch which takes pride in what they do. They serve fresh and well cooked meals. They have set courses and a menu, with the option of take aways. If you are in the area I suggest making a turn by this venue.

I tried Ming Bow for the first time today and was very sceptical as I had seen many bad reviews. I tried the mixed chow mein and it was absolutely delicious! It wasn't the usual noodles, veg, and meat cooked in soy sauce. It was actually creamy but not too creamy and the taste just blew my mind away. It's something new and different and definitely something I needed in my life. I am definitely going back for more! The prawns were a great size and tasted amazing. And the portion size was huge!

When you walk in its empty, that should have been a clue. Placing an order was quick, and the couple that run the place are friendly. The food was tasty but only after eating when I ordered another cold drink I saw that the new glass that came was very dirty! Put me off my food. Looks like it was just rinsed not washed. Made me wonder about the plate I had eaten off.

Very friendly staff, decently priced food and good atmosphere. The main attraction though is supposed to be the food. In fact at any restaurant it should always be the food. The food here was honestly forgettable. But good company and a few beers will definitely help your evening along. It's not that it's not good, it just wasn't great.
