Went to the Fat Goat on Friday lunchtime. Restaurant was very quiet but it was raining Cats and Dogs outside. Had the Ribs and Chick combo Special. Ribs were awesome, Chicken was good. Overall everyone had a good meal. Special mention for the coffee, Tikka Tonga coffee was superb!

My boyfriend and I were so excited to visit The Fat Goat last weekend but were left SO HEARTBROKEN when we arrived at the location!!!???????? Only to find that they had shutdown????????... We just couldn't believe it!!! We both are HUGE MARGARITA FANS????❤ it's our most favourite cocktail of all time! We have been to so many places on the East, South u0026 North Coast ordering this cocktail everytime... And no place could ever make a Margarita right not even the Mexican restaurants!
That was until we walked into The Fat Goat for the first time last year and ordered their Margaritas it was "Love at First Sip"????????❤ They did such an Excellent Job with that! Ever since then The Fat Goat was our go to place everytime just to have their Fantastic Margaritas! Their Service u0026 food was so good as well! Oh and their humorous portraits????????...
We just couldn't wrap our heads around it, up till now we still can't believe that The Fat Goat is no longer in existence! ????????????

P.S: Let me know if you know of any place that makes "Killer Margaritas"... Do you guys own any other establishment???

Brilliant new spot in Umhlanga Village. Vibrant, great food, great service and cold beer. Waiters and managers are very keen to help you out, prices aren't bad either! Highly recommend this place for lunch, dinner, sundowners or a night out, suits all!

As we find ourself on the costal town of Umhlanga, we explore to find exceptional experience. The Fat Goat is an establishment that has delivered in more ways then one. "TheGameChanger" was made by accomodating us and having a Motjito turned sweet. The food gets a solid 9/10 for serving size and presentation. After your first "Stella artois" grabb some wings!

Probably the best burger I've ever had! The beer was incredible too. Will be back, soon!

I have yet to try their fare, but their manager is on his game and you can see the passion from himself and the staff. They stock some solid basic wines, primarily higher end fairview region wines and its a nice space to tuck yourself away from the mainstream Umhlanga Village vibe and just have a good date or a reasonably priced meal with cool staff. No complaints here.

Wonderful place, atmosphere and food! Service was top notch with a special thanx to the fun and full of life SQ for his great knowledge of the menu, specials as well as drinks! The Hawaiian Holiday cocktail was great! And must also mention that we felt very at ease with all the covid procedures in place! A definate winner!
