Ah, it’s so nice to see a pier that’s clean and tidy, safe for family and friend to take a long walk, run, cycle or just hangout.

There are boards signs for your location information so you’ll know where everything is around you.

The beaches are full of awesome people having fun. Plenty of food vendors around so you’ll always have chow.

There are a lot of really nice restaurants if you and your family would like to sit down for lunch or simply have a nice cold drink.

Love this new pier!

It's New Pier or Pier 1, Health and Safety is 1 priority and thereafter rules entering premise is followed, tight security process. Thereafter, Transnet officials like a site supervisor are there to guide trucks entering or waiting for the time of their pick-up appointment, truck have to follow the guidelines to of lanes too follow, in order to pick-up their freight container.

Surf was awesome! Too many vagrants!! Lifesaving Club has amazing Food and Coffee! The service was outstanding!!

Nice place to be! Brilliant views of the Durban beachfront. Saw quite a lot of large fish swimming past below us, and it was cool to watch the learner surfers doing their stuff right next to us, as the pier goes right out to backline. The pier is nice and spacious so there's no problem with walking along there. We were also able to push a wheelchair along there quite easily, so access is great. Enjoyed my time there.
