Comfortable, quiet and conveniently located. Owner and staff were super friendly and attentive. Breakfast was amazing, they even catered for a vegan breakfast! Will definitely be visiting again.

I booked an elderly gentleman in for 2 weeks. The care was phenomenal. Nahti and his wife Nellie plus the owner Vasanthi went the extra mile. I will definitely be recommending this Lodge to friends.

The views from the front foyer are stunning. I was at an event this past weekend which was perfectly decorated, as well as excellent hosting!

A wonderful period house overlooking the Durban harbour, this lodge is centrally located to St. Augustines and Life Entabeni hospitals as well as Howard College (UKZN). Its no wonder that it is popular with visiting academics and out of town families visiting patients.
Disclaimer: I visited as a day guest briefly but thought that this place is worth a mention.

Spent the weekend, what a nice surprise, beautiful authentic 1930's face brick house, beautiful view of the Harbour, room was clean and spacious.
Our hosts Gary and Tosca were the greatest and friendly, really nice breakfast. Definitely will be back 10/10 ????

Gary and Tosca are beautiful people and amazing hosts. This guest house has a view of the harbour and the sunrise from the patio and the honesty bar. It takes 15 minutes to the beach in morning traffic. There are restaurants nearby or Gary will recommend a place that he knows well. Rooms are beautiful and homely and there is secure parking.
