Absolutely beautiful views. You haven't seen Durban if you haven't been to the Roma Revolving Restaurant. The owner Gino makes you feel so special and advises you well on what to eat. The staff too are respectful and very helpful. The food is truly spectacular - I've never eaten such good food in Durban in many years, it's so hearty and well flavoured - quality food. The tiramisu is also incredibly delicious. They do not dilute their drinks, everything is fresh and made with love. I would go there again and again. The only thing I would wish for is for the air-conditioning to be more effective on a hot day.

Absolutely awesome. The food is amazingly tasty, big portions. The hosts is charismatic and friendly. The waiters and staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home. We eat here once a year and they still remember our orders and names.

The ground floor entrance tells no tales. Enter the elevator, okay, antic pictures so what? Then exit the elevator and wow!, the sky high views welcome. The circular all glass room beckons. I was in the Durban revolving restaurant, one of 31 in the world. What a spectacle! Very brilliant deep rich red ambiance from the cafeteria curtains. All open to show the star spangled canvas of Durban night lights, of the harbour then the city centre then the south beach hotels moving ever so slowly into view as me and my hosts enjoyed delectable meals.
The presence of waiters in hindsight were not intrusive like in other restaurants, I think it's because they only serve from the inner side of the room. My gaze not interrupted was captivated by the company and the marvel of the revolving restaurant.

Haven't been here for over 10 years I'm very glad I went back. It was recommended to me by my son who went a week ago and we had a fantastic meal today. Very impressed and what a phenomenal view.

The views are amazing. Go there for the experience of the revolving mechanism and not the food. The food is mediocre, good but not great. The pepper sauce accompanying the ostrich steaks was extremely salty. Ambience has that stuffy old school restaurant vibe. It would fare better if they offered an updated contemporary Italian menu, lighter meal options and beer on tap.

This place is so outdated. They need a complete revamp. The food is not worth the money. Only enjoyed the starters. The waiter tells you what to order not the other way around. Ordered a lasagne and steak both terrible, steak was slimy absolutely no flavor. Side was brenjal chutney uurgh. Have no words to describe how terrible the food is. Never will be returning until this place is revamped. Only thing we enjoyed was the view.

My partner Booked us a table for dinner on my Birthday and I must say I had the most AMAZING experience at Roma. It was my first time and we're definitely coming again. Next we're ordering the Chateaubriand Bearnaise. Excited for that because the table next to us got a wonderful experience where the meat was prepared right in front of them.

The host was very warm and welcoming, explained our meals very well. Took our orders and everything. The best experience I have ever gotten from a restaurant.
The waiter was very lovely. Checked up on us, made sure we're okay. It was busy but they made us feel special on my special day.

The Revolving Restaurant, the 360 degrees view of Durban during the sunset was amazing. It revolved twice while we were there. Amazing experience. We even went up to the Rooftop which had an exquisite view.
The restaurant made me feel as though we were in Italy ???????? the ambience is spectacular.

I ordered the Lamb Ossobuco and my partner the lasagne. I must say the meals were both out of this world. The meat tender. The flavours Bursting and fresh. As if you can taste every herb and spice used. Fresh and cooked to perfection. The lasagne was amazing. We kept picking at each others dishes ????

For the dessert, it came on a tray, we had the tiramisu. I must say it was way too cold and too wet for my liking. The only thing we didn't enjoy.

But the overall experience 5 out of 5.
