Stroll along Durban's famous golden mile to where you meet the snake park. This earned its famous name for once having a snake sanctuary situated at this exact spot once , however it's since closed and the building housing various snake species was demolished. Today just a car park one of the many on the golden mile . Allows access to the piers , mini town a tourist attraction and actual pedestrian entrance to the promenade filled with local and international visitors enjoying many activities on the beaches . Jogging , cycling , surfing, and non motorised sport are common. Many just marvel at the calming effect of the ocean and just soak up the Durban sun. Fairly safe with regular police, law enforcement and security patrols.

A safe parking area with car guards in attendance. A good place to start your morning walk or enjoy a swim .

Park along the beach and enjoy sea views, local entertainment, nearby restaurants, a walk on the beach or pier. Wheelchair accessible. Don't leave valuables in the car.

It's safe. Visible policing. A very great place for a walk and or a jog and connecting with the good vibes from the beach goers m
