I went for Father's Day. I tried to make a reservation but they don't take reservations for weekends. Still, we were seated quickly, despite just arriving. Good drinks! Bit expensive though (+- R50 each). Food was slow but it WAS Father's Day, and busy, afterall. I felt that it was shabbier than I remembered but the food, once it came, was really good! Worth the wait. The waitress was on the ball! The manager too. I'd like to visit again on a less busy day! Definitely worth a visit.

Great location on the promenade. Staff is very friendly and the whole Cafe has a welcoming vibe. Food and drinks options are amazing especially the plant based range. Will recommend the beet hummas and avo rae bread.

Had a great experience, but they close too early which I wasn't aware of. Apart from the closing hour, every other thing is okay including the service rendered and the clean environment. For smokers, they do not allow smoking within except you walk out. The circus is close to the water, so you get a nice breeze and ocean view experience.

It was my 1st time eating here after many years, and was well worth it. The crumbed mushrooms were just as good as the ones that were sold at the Gateway branch. The Chicken Schnitzel was very filling, I eventually couldn't finish it and ended up taking the chips home. My hot chocolate was amazing. I would highly recommend this place and I hope to return soon.

Beautiful ocean views and spacious outdoor setting, food portion sizes are very generous and almost everything is made from scratch including their juices. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Had the best pasta there. Nice and chilled. Definitely recommend. I don't know how packed it gets cos I went during off-peak. But great service and food nonetheless

In the main a beautifully located beach restaurant. A fairly good menu that comes at a premium. The restaurant was not very busy but was extremely noisy compounded by movement of the furniture each time a patron entered or left. We were often drowned out in our conversation.
