Rooms are very clean and well maintained.
Staff are very professional, helpful and friendly.

Location is a slight problem because the bus terminal is next door and the surrounding area is quite busy.

The establishment itself is well maintained and offers regular priced rooms.

Rooms and Services are so clean and user friendly. Sun1 Durban just need to consider cleaning outside the hotel there is much littering around the building.
Thank you we enjoyed our stay. Hopefully will call again ????

It was okay, I liked the fact that I was changed from a smoked room into a none smoking room. Thanks to Snethemba, for all the efforts. The only problem I had was the noise from fellow visitors and radio from taxi at the parking lot. This can be managed. The ramp by the stair case need to be rubberised to avoid injuries during rain, I almost fell. The wet floor notice doesn't cut it.

What a nice place to stay in,rooms are always clean staff is friendly,my kids and i enjoyed our stay sun1 didnt dissapoint with wifi always on it made my stay even extra comfortable i would recommend it to anyone price range is reasonable and you wont regret plus its close to the beach,bus station i was sooo surprised as to how it made things simple i could get around with my kids everyday durban is a great place to visit with kids and sun1 is the place to rest,safe and clean nothing a more a mother can ask for.

The location of it is far from the beach. The service was great, the rooms are clean but there is no cooking area. You get free coffee and wi-fi .

So bad. I booked off of bookings.com and the reviews were not accurate. The area is not safe and secure. The parking is a mess. DHL took up so much parking with their trucks it looked like a depot. It was noisy. The view is of a Taxi rank. They forgot to make the beds. No towels. SOAP is given. The positive is that the rooms do not smell and the reception lady dealt with the horrified, dissapointed guests like a trooper. TV stations are SABC and ETV. Nothing for children. Unpractical. Over priced and just not nice. Actually felt sorry for the staff that really try their best. The truck situation was worse by the evening. Perhaps the hotel is better suited for truck drivers that need to overnight and should not be available for regular guests.
