When you get there you are warmly welcomed into the facility. Happiness is an absolute blessing and goes out of her way to accommodate you as guest.
The views are amazing and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The food is great and definitely recommended.
I will definitely be back on my next trip.

We had an amazing experience. We had a breath taking view of the Nahoon River and Indian Ocean from our elegant and spacious room. I would recommend booking the all day Private Jacuzzi which looks over the river or just relaxing on the swings or pool watching over the river after a long days work or holidaying. Truly you get more than just a room to come back to at the end of the day. Super friendly staff.

Very unsanitary room as the carpet, sink and shower were dirty. I changed to another room that had a filthy kettle, the bin had not been emptied as evidenced by fruit peels and empty coffee and sugar sachets from previous guests. There was a mound of fine sand by the door due to burrowing by ants that the ladies who checked me in did not clean,visible as it was. The TV was not working and the lady who came to assist could not get it right, despite her best efforts but she helped clean the sand by the door.
I cancelled my stay and slept for one night instead of two and battled to get my refund from them and had to escalate the matter to the booking platform I had used. Kudos to hotel.com for their efficiency in having the matter resolved!!

Their only selling point is breakfast and location but cleanliness is not their strong point.

Happiness is a real gem. Always friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for making my stay comfortable and easy. Love the peacefulness of this guesthouse. Love to watch the sun come up and the playfulness of the birds and the fish....the river is a bonus.

Amazing view, amazing rooms, breakfast is out of this world! The owners are very friendly, and the staff are always happy to assist with a smile. A truly little paradise.

The service was excellent, warm welcoming from sis Nothemba, she made me and my family feel at home. The view/ nature is to die for, the place is spotless clean (hygiene ????)...their food is delicious, the whole staff is user-friendly. I really really love it there. I am definitely going back there on my next visit in East London.

I didn't stay at Blues Guest House. I went to a 90th birthday lunch there. Everything was tip top, venue, service and an excellent lunch was gad by all 30 guests. Will definitely visit again.
