Very beautiful, located in a quiet and peaceful environment. The room is very neat and spacious, leading to a deck with a beautiful view. The host is very friendly and the service is excellent. I would greatly recommend Arbour Lodge

I stayed here earlier in the year and the experience really stuck with me,
Thought I should do my bit to let others know how great this place is,
I got there late and Ilona took it in her stride and without a fuss let me in (I still feel bad)
Ilona is great! My room was great! The town is great!
I’m coming back soon!!

I have been on the road constantly for the last 10 years marketing my business and making sales. I have visited and stayed at literally hundreds of resorts, time-share units, guest houses and Bu0026B'S over the years. I plan, book and pay all my trips up-front. I strongly believe in supporting small business ventures in the geographical area that I pass through. This time however, I was really disappointed. The beds did not have flat sheets, only a mattress cover and a duvet. The varnish on the kitchen cupboard is sticky. There is no slip-resistant mat in the bath/shower and floor was dirty and the cupboards smelled like mould. I have never been treated so rudely or made to feel so unwelcome by any hostess.

We were having training for the whole week and the dogs were allowed to mingle with us. Other colleagues and trainers did not mind them but I just couldn't stand them

Pleasant, friendly, helpful hosts. Bed only reasonably priced. Room I stayed in ever so slightly tired and in need a spruce-up.

Travelled the world, and stayed a many Bu0026B's but none come even remotely close to this absolute gem. If you are in Beacon Bay, East London, you are going to have to stay there, it is a definite must. If you haven't been to East London yet, well then this place should be the reason you go. Just get there.

Beautiful place with a stunning sea view!
Food is great and the people are even better; a must visit!
It is a home away from home!
