Busy and popular restaurant.
Lots of convenient parking. Staff appears friendly, professional and smartly dressed.
Nice and neat inside. Mind the hidden step to the men's restroom. Missing towels to dry your hands.
The Won Ton soup was very salty, tasted of seaweed, and the dumpling could have been more cooked. Beef noodles was tender and tasty but a bit heavy on the salty sauce.

Greeted and seated by a very friendly and welcoming Uthnati, who was our server for the evening.
The sushi was well prepared and delicious. Uthnati made us feel welcome and made our experience at the restaurant worth while. ????????

Lovely sushi but we waited a bit long. Service was good with a super friendly waiter but a bit slow and table not cleared with our dirty glasses.

They're so busy doing takeaway orders that every time I dine at Shanghai, I've waited an hour or more to get my food. It seems that "takeaway" orders are more important than seated customers. Waiters are missing in action, running around seeing to takeaways. Waiters don't bother to clear table, ask how you're enjoying meal, or top up drinks. I won't go back. Far easier and cheaper to order sushi from Happy Eating in Berea.

We made use of the smaller part of the restaurant and we found the service very disappointing. Had to ask three times for a lemon to be put in my sider. As we sat by the door All waiters walk close by, but if you try to get their attention, nobody responds immediately. No serviettes. Material serviettes were provided, but I chose new disposable paper serviettes. The food was good, as usual. Maybe we should just avoid the smaller room on the side in future..????????

I’m utterly disappointed with the service of your Avo delivery drivers. On one occasion my sushi arrived completely destroyed that it was inedible. On the second occasion my order was late by more than 1 hour. On the most recent occasion your Avo ordering system had no driver to deliver to my area which is utterly disappointing. I never have such problems when ordering with Happy Eating whose deliveries are done on their website by their delivery partner called Delivast. I live quite a distance from Shanghai and it would be nice to get delivery with a reliable partner as I can't order on Mr D or Uber Eats. I want to stay a Shanghai customer but please consider Delivast if you want to help more customers like me especially who live quite far

Sushi was amazing! Freshest fish and they are not shy on the amount of fish in the sushi. Chinese dishes also amazing. The dim sum is not real dim sum, rather it's a bao. Still tasty though. We also had deep fried ice cream, it was totally worth it! Decor and atmosphere are lovely. Will be back.
