Very pleasant and peaceful place. I have reduced the rating to 3 stars for two main reasons:
1. Upon arrival I was greeted by the owner's husband, an "anti-vax" spokesperson who made me feel very uncomfortable due to my admission that my family and I are all vaccinated after being compelled to do so by him after being asked numerous times. This man went as far as accusing me of being part of what he called a "regime" being forced onto people. Needless to say I respected his view and remained calm. I do not appreciate my values and beliefs being questioned by someone who should be making me feel at home. We waited for around 5 minutes for the manager to arrive and he spent all 5 minutes lecturing and belittling me for choosing to vaccinate. I seriously considered leaving immediately but was greeted by the manager who made my stay amazing!
2. The entertainment available in the room was not up to par with other places in this price range and in the area, TV was very small and only offered a few open view channels. Sorry to all the sports fans like myself you will have to stream. Unfortunately you will do so at your own cost, due to the place only offering a measly 500mb to its guests. Other places in the areas offer uncapped and DSTV, especially in this price range.
The only reason i did not rate it lower is because if you can get over the lack of entertainment, and hopefully avoid the owner's husband, it's a very nice and tranquil place which is well run by the manager who is very friendly and welcoming. She deserves a raise to say the least!

Had the worst experience ever.... I could write the whole chapter of a book.... This is one place I would never ever use nor recommend to anyone I know.... The place is nice for a B u0026 B, the staff is fine but you can see or tell that they tow the line for the sake of it to can put bread on their tables. As for the lady boss, I'm short of words to describe her lack of people's skills, bad communication skills, unprofessional etiquette for a hospitality business....

Personal service from owner when booking in; warm, personal welcome extended to her guests; stunning views; extremely comfortable bed; wonderful amenities; very quiet. (I took a self- catering chalet.) Also reasonably priced. Heartfelt recommendation. Really, really try experience this place when next you're in East London

The recipient was warm, friendly, professional and most importantly to me - short - even with all the COVID complications.
The rooms are a bit small, but adequate u0026 very well equipped. Even the plug points are well positioned and easy to access. The TV is smaller than I believe it should be - and there is NO DSTV! There is Open View if you're into that. I my opinion that's just 18 channels of nothing. At this price point DSTV is expected! As well as a decent size TV.
The bathroom was quite spacious, considering the size of the room u0026 everything was nice and clean.
The beds are small, so if you're a couple sharing, spooning will be mandatory.
My personal preferred standard is pure white bed linen u0026 towels, which this was not. However, the beds left no impression that cleanliness was lacking in anyway. Speaking of the beds - mine was softer than my personal preference but comfortable enough.
There are several conveniently positioned outside tables the make the most of the magnificent view down the valley. Unfortunately, even though it is quite far away from the highway, you can still hear a lot of traffic noise. I guess that's the price you pay for the view.
The free WiFi is not even enough to watch half an episode of your favourite Netflix series. Come on! How is it that in today's world that you can only provide 600mb of WiFi data! This cost you a star!

Pleasant stay, rooms always clean, beautiful view, friendly staff. Would recommend it to anybody visiting East London. They are COVID-19 prepared as well, which is great.
