Augusta Grill is a beautiful aura restaurant with kind waiters and it is an awesome place to go for meetings. Their food is spectacular with rich taste. My favorite was their dessert. Finely crafted and served.

Augusta is a new, stylish restaurant and patisserie that opened in April 2018.
The modern decor is very classy and stylish, with a good selection of wines and a baby grand piano to compliment the interior. There are three seating areas available - inner hall, interior, and outside on the "stoep" overlooking the old Moedergemeente church. Note for outside - I would recommend more towards the evening as traffic can be quite loud and busy.
The food is good as well. We had breakfast and although it was good, the meat was a bit dry for my taste (I ordered the 'prayer corner', if I remember the dish's name correctly). What really stood out for me was the pastries and desserts, and I highly recommend you try them. Service is good and friendly, although you can expect to wait a bit longer for your food.
The prices are above average for menu items, but the patisserie's prices are below average, which makes it very dangerous for me.
If you are thinking of going on a special occasion or nice date, I would recommend you try Augusta's grill. If you want a nice coffee date with a friend/petite amie, I suggest you take them to the patisserie.

An enjoyable dining experience. Beautiful decor and a stunning setting. A very different and welcome addition to the restaurant scene in George. Food was lovely and the service was not bad and I would have given 5 stars if the waitress was a little friendlier and more attentive. Worth a visit when in George.

I love the setup and decoration of Augusta. The atmosphere is so relaxing and with the live music its even better. Great for romantic dining and very friendly even for family dining. Love the stuff and they have meals to die for. Will visit again surely!
