Wonderful selection of meats, deli foods, home baked treats and basic groceries. Meat cut to your request by very knowledgeable Butchers. All staff helpful and friendly. Plenty of safe, off main road parking at their premises. Very busy at peak times, but well managed, makes shopping here quick, easy and affordable.

The one and only place to buy ,old school red Vienna's,Russians and there Frankfurters are the best.There meat is top quality,the shop is always clean,and stocked up. There services is great,and there take-away kiosk is a must.

I have done some very good reviews on this business as I have been in George since 1979. Today I tried the Sunday lunch a unfortunately it wasn't a good experience! Firstly the portions don't warrant the R65 even if you get desert with. No gravy on rice and food is bland. Got there to collect my lunches as I did pre ordered 10h30 at they were basically sold out,customers in que complained about the small portions and about them running out. I ordered pork and lamb and both portions were lacking. Sad to say that I would rather buy from PnP .

For years I have been a loyal customer. Whenever I come to George I go to van Rensburg's. They have freshest meat ever, the best Biltong and dried wors, excellent home industry goodies, such customer centric staff.

Excelent quality meat products for sale. Also has a few other products i.e. biscuits, rusks, small tartlets, vegetables and also does platters on order. I always enjoy their boerewors, biltong and droëwors.
