One of my favourite locations in the world. A beautiful part of the Garden route.Despite the location, the hotel was a bit of a disappointment, visibly lacking upkeep and general maintanance. The reception staff could also benefit from some professional hospitality training.

Great location, set in nature. Poorly maintained. Below average breakfast. Low staff morale. So much potential, but misses the mark.

Entance to hotel is absolutely amazing. Place as huge potential to be a top destination for visitors but generally is dilaptidated. Lovely view from spacious bedroom but bedding was stained. We could not get aircon to work. Fireplace did not work. Pillows are totally worn out. Breakfast was good.
Would I go back or recommend it? No. Certainly not until management takes charge and fixes up. Nothing like crisp white bedding after a long day

Was travelling through on business and when i checked rates on line a room for one was R400 night which was the cheapest in George. I might add that there was only luke warm water and rooms were very old fashioned with terrivle TV and no channels BUT room was clean, bed extremely comfortable and i had a welcome nights sleep. The night duty managers were very helpfull and went out of their way to accomodate me. Well done.

Beautiful setting in the heart of the Garden Route with magnificent views. Extremely low rates for what you’re getting.
Very friendly u0026 helpful staff.

Food wasn't up to standard. 90th birthday is a milestone. The catering was poor.
