My boyfriend is one of ghe longterm tenants here and the facilities are wonderful. The rooms are clean and the grounds are very well kept, it's a very happy place to stay.

We've stayed at Sea Glimpse Resort many times and we will definately stay there when we get the chance again. Lovely place for families. The units are clean and comfortable. You will not be able to watch TV as the reception is poor, but with beautiful nature all around and so many things to do in the area you won't miss it. Buy all essentials in George or at the Garden Route Mall. Our children love it there. They take a cricket set or balls to play with on the big green where other children soon join in. We enjoy the 3 swimming pools, all with safety fencing around. Enjoy sundowners on your porch while you soak up the amazing views. Bliss!

Returning to Sea Glimpse after a 5-year absence I was shocked to see how little has change, improved or enhanced.
Although cosmetically the units, lawns and 3 pools appear to be well maintained there is little else to get excited about. Putting it mildly the units are dated and in dire need off a face lift.
So please allow me to comment on my recent stay;
The stove plate covers were grimy and severely burnt – not appealing to the eye or user.
Plastic dirt bin had no lid…unhygienic and a haven to attract flies…
The Cheapest mop and broom set to be found in George!!! a Wonder broom and mop set would be more suited.
The kitchen hot water tap, that hammered everyone awake in complex when opened slowly.
No iron – which is standard in most resorts
No safe provided to store valuable – again standard in most resorts
No clothes horse or facility to hang wet towels and swim ware – once again standard in most resorts
Cheapest and most uncomfortable 1-seater couch (only 2 provided). So, where do the other 2 guests sit?
Mildew and black sludge on grout in shower, below door – obviously not cleaned properly for years!!!
Who still provides SABC 1, 2 and 3 services channels on a prehistoric TV? Have you not heard about smart TV’s and DSTV? – standard in most resorts
Thanks for providing a braai grid but we could not find bricks to support the grid – maybe provide braai grid stand or install metal rods.
The stoep height of the unit we had does not conform to building regulation and is a health and safety risk. The step up from the lawn is too high.
The overhead hanging veranda is too low and also does not conform to building regulation.
Maybe this will explain why the complex was relatively un-occupied. Always known complex to be fully booked way in advanced. Also, notably there were no more campers, all sites were empty.
The family has occasionally been using this resort for the past 20 years but regrettable this would probably be the last. Thank you for the fond and fading memories.

Budget is very clearly made budget. No money in the budget for cleaning, prober bath mats, or any tipe of general maintenance.
