My wife had to be rushed in for an emergency C- Section. From the time we arrived we arrived at the emergency to being discharged the response time and service was excellent, thank you to the Nurse who advocated the urgency of her situation, the hospital is extremely well kept and clean, they are very strict on protocols which is an excellent thing.The care she received after giving birth in the ward was also brilliant. Thank you for assisting us with our emergency and us leaving the hospital with happy faces and a healthy baby.

Labour ward staff are very good and professional. Was treated well through out. Had a c section birth. Also had to go back and remove my stiches and the ladies there were so nice and professional.

Also love the fact that they have a home affairs office and I managed to get my baby's birth certificate done

I had the best possible treatment from a fine hospital thank you for saving my life. Your staff starting from security right through to the top sisters, nurses, matrons, doctors and specialist were out of this world and showed only there best skills and empathy.

Why are drunk people always given a preference. I had a little girl sick coughing up blood. Waited 6 hours. Couldn't wait any longer as more drunk people would get treatment first. Spoke to the usher, the desk clerk, if you going to emergency. Always go with an ambulance, they were being served first. ???????????? Not the kids or old people. Drunk people. I cannot fathom it

I had the worst treatment any sick person would receive just because the male nurse by the name of Jacob was in a hurry to go home. At first, they wanted me to go back home saying their clinic is not within the area where I reside in, that time I only got to the province not so long, I hardly know where which place is, him, Jacob and Sister Gumede were so quick to tell me how not sick I am and that they only treat people within their area. Personally, I will never set foot in that clinic, I left the clinic more sick because of their attitude towards patients.

If I could give this place minus 5 stars I would.
More than half the night shift is sleeping. Especially any and all security.
The remaining staff of which I had the unpleasant displeasure of meeting were incredibly rude.
My wife came in going in to labour. Being the ONLY person in the maternity ward yet she was only helped 2 hours after arriving. Then an additional 3 hours after just being moved to a different room. Where the only nurse that was awake ( her colleague snuggled up behind the desk sleeping ) had the audacity to be rough with my wife. While she is already in a lot of pain then lies to my face when I ask about her well being. If being useless had an award the Bertha Gxowa night shift would take the gold home EVERY TIME

This is a terrible hospital the staff ignore patients you have to assist another patient when you are one. This hospital is for people wanting to come die because you wait so long for assistance that it could just be to late. I've been here since Friday 6:45pm and it is now Saturday 7:20pm have yet to see a doctor or get proper medical care. They refused to transfer me to another hospital where I would get better care. The nurses only change patients when the visitors are about to come see their relatives there's no bed baths blood pressure machines do not work but nurse record blood pressure results and you have to go to the nurse to even get your blood pressure taken. You will sit in pain and nurses and doctors will ignore you and say they have done what they were supposed to and you should wait for the next doctor that can take hours. Their medical care is negligent and poor. Patients are treated as inhuman. I am scared that I will die here due to no medical attention. My stomach should have been pumped but not even that was done
