Very clean and good security. Reasonably nice play ground for the kids. Excellent place to come chill, Braai , have a family gathering or just walk around for some alone time. Lakes aren't dirty and good place to fish, row, or paddle boat. No matter the occasion I reckon that this place is definitely top 10 parks to visit in Johannesburg.

It really is a nice place to spend the afternoon, but that’s just because of the grass and the lake, right in front of it. It’s just a shame that people feel the need to leave their litter everywhere- the lake included. The facilities are aged and the toilets are locked, which is a major inconvenience. It would really benefit from a “face lift” and maybe some security to keep people from getting too rowdy.

Very accommodating people! Helpful and friendly. And the Lake water is surprisingly clean.

Note this is a private power boating club. Not part of the public park. Controlled and access.
