What a pleasant experience from beginning to end! Our waitress Thembi was very attentive and super friendly ???? Cocktails ???? excellent, Starters excellent, Mains excellent. Will definitely be back for more when visiting JHB again ????

The service was excellent, remember to ask the waiter for their special dishes ???? everyone is very friendly and always available to help. The food is delicious.

One of my favourite places when I'm in the area. Food u0026 service are excellent but if you're a small eater, be aware that the portions are huge! The starters could be a main course! They lost one star because we wanted a bottle of non-alcoholic bubbly but they didn't stock it! Not catering for non-drinkers will put me off entertaining teetotal clients here again.

I like a restaurant that you can park right outside. Friendly staff, warm Sunny windows… Parmesan chicken breasts were tasty. A little more Chicken on the Chicken burger would’ve been nice. Lovely fresh salad u0026 friendly staff… spacious family spot.

Went for dinner two weeks ago on a Friday evening and sadly, a bad experience! The noise coming from a private party in the pub was annoying to say the least (disco blasting away),so much so, that we could hardly converse during dinner! While the service from our waiter was okay, the food was lousy! Steaks were cold, as were the vegetables served. Certainly not good value for the food served on the evening, and what we have experienced previously when going for dinner at this restaurant! No manager in site either!
As a result doubt we will be going back in a hurry, but rather frequent other restaurants in the area like Benigans who offer more!
Sadly, from what The Baron used to be, I would not recommend going to this restaurant based on our recent experience.

Good place, great people, good customer service. The place is clean and tidy yet very expensive for low-lives like us. Don't go there if you don't have money.
