Absolutely delicious food, sublime pastries, all served on gorgeous Le Creuset crockery. The only negative is the not so friendly serving staff! Despite this, will definitely return

Awesome pizza, exceptional cappuccino, freshly squeezed OJ, friendly service, stone ground flour and everything is made fresh...possibly the best bread in Port Elizabeth. Thank you

My favourite place to have coffee and breakfast while responding to emails. Delicious single origin espresso, fresh breads, daily specials, and friendly staff.

Their new menu is fantastic, and it has the best (and in my opinion, only "real") Cesar salad I've had in South Africa.

If you are looking for a quiet spot for breakfast, this is the place. Good location, right by the main road. The breakfast was great and the staff is very friendly.

Disappointing

A friend suggested that we meet at Banneton Bakery.
It was my first visit and more than likely my last.

I ordered the Cabonaro pasta. My friend ordered the carrot cake.
My Carbonaro pasta arrived first and ice cold. My friend had to get up to enquire about her carrot cake.

Once we were done, we had to get up from our table to ask for our bill.
I was surprised by the total lack of attention as there were only two other tables with guests when we were there.

On the bill my Carbonaro pasta was R10 more than the price listed on the menu. Apparently, the prices on the “system” are not the same as on the menu. A first for me.

Even at the correct price, I feel that it is pricey. There is better near by.

Good, friendly service. Interesting menu, with good variety of teas and coffees. Food is excellent.
