Great to get back to Spur again but it's become very expensive and not as good as I remember. My Onion rings tasted like burnt oil.

I ordered as a takeout the new ribs and chicken thigh combo and was very disappointed. Although it was very tasty, the ribs were very good, but what was supposed to be 2 chicken thighs turned out to be 2 small pieces of bone and skin 1 tiny piece of wing and 1 extremely tiny thigh that looked like it belonged to a pigeon and not a chicken. If that had been served to me as a sit down meal in the restaurant I would have sent it back, but it wasn't worth returning to complain because petrol is so expensive.

Wonderful venue with a very rare endangered animal called a smoking area which is a winner for me. Food always very nice. There is always a but or should be. In this case the kiddies menu issue at restourants. No questions at KFC or Mac Donald when I purchase kiddies meals as to what the age of kids is or if a child is going to eat it or an adult. My mom 75 wanted something small for lunch and as wanted a kiddies size pizza ????. Not a chance. If I order an adult meal for a kid is that then also not allowed? Had the same issue at Wimpy and they rectified the issue.

Nothing beats a spur burger with an ice cold draught. Good service and good food, food was prepared just the way I liked it. Did not wait long and the glasses were always full. The vegan meals were surprisingly delicious as well.
