Stopped at this gym couple of days ago to enquire about pricing. I was met at reception by the most unfriendly guy I've seen in a long time, wouldn't give me pricing unless i give all my details to a rep and wouldn't let me take a walk through the gym to at least see if i like it. Called them now to ask about trying the gym for one session so that i don't commit to a contract unless i know what I'm in for... "sure sir, a day pass will cost you R100"
Well done Edge. You just took a potential client from 99% in to 100% never

This gym will remain the best in Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha). It may not be the biggest, but professionalism and quality beats the rest.

I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to reach their goals successfully and with utmost care and respect. The staff and instructors are very good at what they do and are always around to make every visit the best.

Also, if you are looking to do personal classes, group session or even boxing classes, just enquire at the front desk.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Incredibly unprofessional and incompetent methods of communication from the admin and accounts department.

I am by no means a "Karin", but I wouldn't recommend this gym to my worst enemy. Poor customer service, all they care about is money. The equipment is often out of order, although they charge a levy twice a year for "maintenance". During Covid when the gym was shut, they continued to charge their members, while gyms such as Virgin Active did not, because they probably care about their clients. To make matters worse, I signed up for contract at a fixed fee, yet they increased my fees without any consent and in breach of the contract I signed for.

Extremely poor communication from them. You will email and fill out call me backs till you blue, you will never get a reply from them. You go in and ask for a call back, they take your details but they never phone. Poor service. So many empty promises made on sign up.

This company is VERY scammy. Don't ever waste your money on this gym!!!!!
