WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!
I am looking for a Cartridge Filter Pump for an above ground pool.
I “Googled” and a few items came up from Game.
I normally do not buy from Game but decided to take a drive to Game in Greenacres.
I tried to locate the items but was unsuccessful.
I asked someone wearing a Game shirt where I could find the item and was told that she does not work for Game. I approached a second Game shirt wearing individual. She too did not work for Game but offered to page someone who could help me.
I waited 5 minutes, but no one arrived.
There was no one working for Game willing to help so I left.
I now understand the reported the R1bn Massmart loss and was reminded as to why I usually avoid Game.

The cashier added an item worth R299, u0026 the security signed it off. Do I have to scrutinise my slip every time I go shopping? Is that the level of trust of I can afford Game staff? Because if that's the case, I got better places to spend.
I eventually got the money back, but that was after I'd followed up an email with a phone call with a half-an-hour visit to the store, because Game's email system just so happened to go down the day before I sent the email. Why should it cost me the inconvenience of chasing you down u0026 waiting for the money that was never yours in the first place?

I usually order from game via the uber eats app, and every single time I order from the branch at green-acres I get told that they are out of stock on some items that I purchased. And every single time I report it via uber eats, they say that they cant refund my money… I went directly to the branch to get a refund on the items of which I did not receive… only then did they refund me. I dont see the need for me to have to fight for my money, its simply not fair at all. I purchased again there after via uber eats and yet again they said they were out of stock on bread…I reported via uber eats again with pictures and a receipt , Again, they said they cant refund me! I then reported it to the manager at greenacres Davidene Van De Berg, who said that she will send someone to give me my refund , its been more than a week since she told me she would do that. I am still waiting! And she has not responded to my emails.
I dont like making a fuss , but because it has been happening on numerous occasions , I WILL NOT leave it like this. I work hard for my money only for Game to rob me like this. Game has not even refunded me for the rice that I ordered a while back since they said were out of stock on that. I didn't complain, but like I said it kept happening… so I refuse to leave it like this!

Went to buy a TV. Had to go back home to fetch relevant documents (fine, we understand this). The problem arose, that we waited forty minutes when we returned. There was only one person dealing with TVs on a Saturday afternoon (a pay day weekend). They made me go pay. I took the extended warranty. I was told it was for four years. My invoice was for two years at a different price. No apologies given. The people in front of us were trying to buy the same TV as us. But every TV they pulled out of the box was damaged ! There was about eight open boxes put to the side because they were all damaged. Eventually they get to us, this is over an hour now. "We don't have any more TVs". The special was still running for another two weeks. So we asked about the next shipment. They refused to tell us or listen to our question. We were then offered another TV for the same price but it wasn't a SMART TV. The person couldn't understand why we wouldn't take this TV. Then I had to try and get my money back. The person at customer service told me they couldn't give my money back. Only in vouchers. I had to argue. They just swiped my credit card for over R5000 and now wanted to give me a voucher. Eventually someone else came to reverse the charge on my card. Will NEVER shop here again.

Good variety of products and some discounts, however environment may be a little dirty and claustrophobic. Staff is friendly and willing to help.

Absolutely the WORST shop on the planet! Wasted my time reading the latest brochure; wasted my petrol getting there only to be told there's NO STOCK. Not even the shop assistants knew what I was referring to so I had to return to the front of the store to collect a brochure as proof to show them. I don't care about trucks not delivering or any other excuses. Lucky Star Sardines 4 for R50.
This is not the first time that this has happened so in future the only use I will have for the Game brochure is a lining for cat litter and bird cages.
