The staff needs abit more training. A better and closed off braai area would be a great addition. Staff is friendly and prices are very reasonable. Actually a great place....would definitely refer it and visit it again. Walking distance to slot of attraction. To everyone that works there....THANK YOU FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY!!!! The place definitely needs an update, but its fine for now

I was there with my girlfriend for a night. They couldn't control other guest that were partying next to our room. Couldn't sleep because of loud music. Worst experience ever!!

This place was the most disgusting accommodation I've ever experienced. The beds weren't made, the toilet was dirty and the ceiling was moldy. The place smelled like rotten animals and every single item of furniture was covered in stains. We slept on the floor and left early in the morning. Never again.

I didn't enjoy my stay and I definately would not recomend to anyone. There was barely any water to shower, the sheets on the bed were dirty, the bedrooms smelled like mould, the place was noisy as people arrived from outside and walked on the top floor. The place is old fashion and a bit scary I would say. I didn't feel comfortable, and they only took cash for payment. The wi-fi was good and free. There is space to park vehicle inside the property.

I've stayed in a lot of hostel but this one was the worst I can think of. There was just nothing good about it.
The dorm room was just a room with as many bunk beds as possible in there. They were so small and uncomfortable that you couldn't even sit and have to lay down all the down.
Even though this place is called Lodge u0026 Tours, they seemed kinda confused when I asked them about a tour to Addo Elephant park. They just told me to go and speak to the manager and acted like it was none of their business.
All in all I didn't feel welcome at all and was happy when I finally moved on.

planes flying overhead the whole time. There wasn't much entertainment and half way through our stay they asked if someone could share our room. On the first day i walked into my room and found a tampon on the bedside table

Aside from the friendly staff, I have to admit that the rooms were dirty and the toilets smelly. I also found it difficult to take a shower because the water was cold much of the time.There is room for improvement. I give it two out of five.
