This is a Rolls Royce of a guest house! One of the best I have ever stayed in, and I travel extensively. The rooms are large, elegantly appointed, totally individual spaces, in two adjoined, classic but comfortable houses, that hark back to a gentler, more generous era. The two swimming pools are sparkling and pristine, and the gardens lush but casual. But what makes this establishment really remarkable, besides its cleanliness and beautiful decor, is the care and attention of the owners. The meals they made for us were excellent, and the attention to every detail of our stay was remarkable. I wouldn't stay anywhere else on a return to this city.

Would have been nice if they let you know that they didn't have water for 2 days. Getting there at 20:30 and finding out that there is no water is just steeling from me. That's the reason one overnight at a guesthouse - To shower and to rest before you travel further or do business the next day. But luckily I felt better after complaining and got the response "I'm sorry". . . . .Nice.

King George's Guest House is a lovely old property that has been beautifully maintained, preserving all the wood work and features of this massive family home. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and hosts Dani, Dave and Lizel always very accommodating.

I held an informal workshop at the venue and was very impressed with their willingness to accommodate us at short notice and to ensure that all our needs were met.
