Wow! Wow! Wow! What amazing service! My grandson was in for a procedure at Day hospital 2 and thereafter in Pediatrics. We spent most of our day at the hospital and I can honestly say we were well taken care of. Not one staff member passed us without a friendly greeting. We were kept informed at all times and even offer coffee. Well done to all the staff and management of Life St George's Hospital.

The admissions this morning was pathetic. 6 Admission desks and only one operating. They managed to do three admissions every 25 minutes. Meanwhile the whole of reception is full of waiting patients. Really pathetic and meanwhile our medical aids are being charged a fortune.

I was admitted to St. George's hospital on the 26th of April 2022 for a hysterectomy. Firstly I would like to recognize my privilege in being able to afford the standard of care every South African should be entitled to, but secondly I wish to commend the entire staff of the Yellowwood ward, 3rd floor surgical for their outstanding dedication, care and attention to their patients. This was by far, from my reception experience all the way through to catering and cleaning a truly 5 Star experience.
The care I received here, the standard of covid protocols, the caring staff and general optimism of this ward was so appreciated. My theater experience was equally reassuring and the staff were warm, friendly and very professional. Thank you for your care.

Everything was nice , lovely nurses in the labojr ward. My wife is currently in recovery after c section and visiting hours Is 10 -8 . We have a private room but I'm not allowed to stay overnight? This makes no sense .... it's just us in the same room we've been in the whole day... ...really disappointing

I'm still here if anyone in management would like to correct this

I am from Bloemfontein and was recently admitted to Saint Georges Hospital while on vacation in Port Elizabeth. It was truly remarkable how they stood head and shoulders above any hospital experience Ive had before. Mediclinic in Bloemfontein is like a concentration camp compared to Saint George’s. Very friendly and caring nurses and doctors in the ER and the wards. The care I received was outstanding, and I really felt warm and comfortable surrounded by caring people. Even the showers are incredible compared to Bloemfontein’s Mediclinic where everything is broken and malfunctioning. I cannot express my gratitude enough. Thanks for taking such good care of me!

If I could put a negative rating I would. Horrible treatment from the emergency department. I spent 6 hours there in a very cold room with no assistance, I saw people who arrived hours after me get treated and leave. From the doctors to the nurses joh hhayi y'all are horrible shem. I only got treated when I asked that they let my husband in so he can take me home (I couldn't walk). Jiki jiki I can't leave without treatment. The racism was top class (10/10).

When i asked about the process to lay a formal complaint to the hospital i was told i will get an sms with the details but it never came. Then there's pathcare joh ayikhulumeki ke yalabo.
