Travelled from Jhb just for the one night unfortunately. This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Has a very nice old school charm about it. Large bedroom with a sea view (which I could see in the morning). The location is perfect as well, right across from the Pier and a literal stone throw away from the Boardwalk casino entrance.

Will definitely be back for longer the next time.

Had my wedding reception yesterday at the beach hotel... Their service was on point and their food is simply the best. The banquet manager was very acomadating with our planning and really professional. Their rooms are amazing and staff are so friendly.

Food was nice but the service from the waitress was bad... Just dropped food and didn't not check if we wanted more drink, if we were happy with the food. She brought the bill without us even asking. Didn't even check if we want dessert aa

Very noisy from outside machines throughout the night, waking you up 6am on the weekend. Probably got a bad room as it also didn't have a view. Very outdated furniture and carpets. Does not look as clean as on the pictures. Poor water pressure in the shower. Poor wine list.

Very slow service at the Verandah restuarant. Not busy but had to wait almost an hour for our order. Drinks took ½ an hour.
Food was delicious and ample portions.

Great location; safe; good running and walking opportunities; bars and restaurants nearby as well as in the hotel. Good WiFi. Free parking. The “partial” sea view is through one “side” window (see picture), which is nice and worth the extra 50 rand or so

Most relaxed atmosphere,old world charm. Enjoying the view of ocean and Boardwalk Pier view while sipping along a wonderful americano and enjoying lunch. Our minimum stay for lunch is 3 hours of pure relaxation.
