Very very nice guest house situated in a quiet neighbourhood. Staff is very professional. Celia the manager is amazing and made sure we would have a lovely stay. The house has everything you might expect from a 5 stars guest house. Highly recommended!

Had the most luxurious stay at Selkirk House in Hermanus this past weekend.

Check-in was smooth, warm and friendly. Anita made us feel so special and welcomed, can't thank her enough.

Rooms were warm u0026 cozy with lovely little touches like a complimentary Lindt Chocolate and Sherry in the corner. Never knew how amazing underfloor heating in a bathroom is... and the bathtub was massive.

Breakfast was delicious, my wife had perfectly cooked poached eggs and I enjoyed some French Toast with Bacon, Maple Syrup and a baked banana.

All in all we can highly recommend Selkirk House for a spoiled weekend away.

Don't wait, just book it!

We (Christo and Fiona) enjoyed the experience at Selkirk as the host was very welcoming and went the extra mile to make us feel at home.
The house environment was modern and luxurious yet comfortable.
We will definitely be visiting Selkirk again and would 10/10 recommend.

Visited Selkirk House this weekend and amazed to find this gem in Hermanus. Absolutely exquisite home, magnificently decorated and the most incredible technology throughout the house to make your stay special. The manager Celia is a legend in Hermanus and I'm excited to see her impact on Selkirk House.

Amazing guest house, I highly recommend it. It is situated right against the mountain and the property is spectacular. The service was wonderful and the staff very friendly.

Wonderful stay! The staff was most attentive and helpful and the rooms and bathrooms were exquisite. The whole house's interior, the garden and the location contribute to the special atmosphere of the place. The guest house is well-organized and offers almost anything you could need, from an in-house wine cellar, wi-fi, swimming pool to underfloor heating. Would stay there again any time!

It was a very beautiful experience and I highly recommend Selkirk House. The Owners was very welcoming and accommodating. The place was very well run and conveniently set up. Everything that one expects of a Five Star accommodation was brought to bear. I encourage anybody to try out the place as they will not be disappointed. Well done and thank You Pieter and Aleta.
