It was amazing, they're friendly and very welcoming environment; the location is just perfect you're about 5 min away from every important places.

Very sad to have to give only 2 stars. We arrived between 4 and 5pm. Had coffee and went for dinner. Asked for 2 more sachets of coffee for the next morning, still waiting for a reply. Wanted to have breakfast at 7am. Was too early for them which I understand, they offered breakfast packs. We said we are not fussy. We received a shop sandwich with its R20 price tag on. A small yoghurt without a spoon. A mini juice and banana and orange. For R85. Did not expect much, but that is sadly just disrespectful. Wanted to send owner a message directly before posting a review, but as I said still waiting for a response from last night 7pm message.

Clean rooms and friendly host. Everything was just perfect. Their breakfast is the best

Not sure what to make of this but when we checked we were told to keep our masks on when leaving the room and we were not allowed to access the kitchen because they couldn't keep track of who used the facilities. When we were checking out the next day we noticed another guest bedroom was opened so as we went down the stairs there was a man using the kitchen in his boxers with no mask. Makes me wonder are the rules subjective? Is it racial? Either way not the best way to leave. Another issue is when hermanus manor is advertised it is advertised as a hotel and the pictures are also displayed that way which makes it false advertising and the only reason we booked there and not somewhere closer to the beach for cheaper.

Incredible stay..
Staff were helpful and always in good spirits.
The Breakfast was fantastic with many options.
The family room was the best as it had a private garden and was spacious.
Had a jet bath and shower.
But note the bathroom door is partly glass for people that are very private in the bathroom.

Fantastic accommodation in Hermanus. I've stayed over a couple of times for business and can truly say that Hermanus Manor met my expectations every time. The rooms are spacious, staff are friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was good.

I can recommend Hermanus Manor for anyone travelling to Hermanus.
