Visited 4 days in a row to watch the whales... saw more than 50 (mothers and calves) from this location, most coming so close to the headland. A fantastic spot to walk to along the coastal path, or drive to. We loved it here... the best spot on the whole coastal path for whale watching in our experience.

???????????? ???????? What another fantastic outlook point in Hermanus along the R43 and the Cliff Path close to the beaches (Langbaai, Grotto, etc). Sitting on a bench at all times of a day recommended. Stunning views and impressions are waiting for you. Especially the rough and long waves and breakers rolling at the Kwaaiwaater Bay.
Again in October 2021 together with my son.

There are many viewing sites along the Hermanus cliff path, but this is one of the best.

Stunning lookout point for whale watching during the season u0026 a great location to sit u0026 enjoy the exquisite coastal views. If walking is not your thing, there are benches in close proximity to the small parking area
