I travel through the entire South Africa. This is one of the best guest houses I have ever been to. The owners are such lovely and gentle people. I wished I could have stayed longer but will definitely return. Very good location and very close to the big blue. Their service and hearts are bigger than the Hermanus whales! God Bless!

I can highly recommend Marlene and Zeno's Bu0026B. They are wonderful, welcoming hosts. Rooms are very spacious, clean and modern. Their breakfast is amazing. Location is great (10'-15' min walk into town) and it's just across the road from the famous Hermanus Cliff Path where you can spot whales during season. Thank you for a lovely stay, I will be back soon!

Spent two lovely nights at The Whale on Main Bu0026B. The rooms are big, clean, and comfortable - with great attention to helpful details for traveling guests. The hosts, Marlene u0026 Zeno, are truly amazing. They even helped me plan out my continued trip along the Garden Route - providing excellent suggestions. Would be happy to stay there again!

Marlene and Zeno are really great hosts. Together with the likewise charming Martha they make you feel completely at home in their beautiful and spacious house. Delicious breakfast (Valentines day themed fruits) and additional service like recommendations/reservations for dinner would have almost made us stay longer... Of all the very well equipped and modern rooms we recommend the rooms with view towards the mountain range in order to enjoy the evening sun on the huge patio.

A great guesthouse with modern light and spacious rooms. Fantastic location, 10-15 mins walk into town and over the road from cliff top whale watching spot where we saw plenty of whales even during our short stay. Our hosts were fantastic, very friendly, knowledgeable of the local area and cooked a fantastic breakfast, they even took us to the whale watching spot a few minutes walk away to make sure we were at the right spot!

The host and hostess are out of this world! What a pleasure staying here! We will definitely be back and we can recommend this Guest House to everyone!

What a lovely place to stay a few days, self owners on the premises ,very friendly and accommodating , very neat and clean, beds were dreamy ,shower was the best
Breakfast for halal was simple fruit and toast with cheese ,
