Izaak is not only one of the most passionate and competent Chefs I have ever had the pleasure of meeting but has travelled the world with the sole purpose of perfecting his craft. He has gathered a plethora of techniques and recipes from every corner of the globe and studied under the great culinary masters but has taken it all in and transformed the recipes into something uniquely his own. What makes Izaak extraordinary is not only his Michelin star quality food but his ability to teach and transfer his wealth of knowledge in an entertaining and enraging way and without the notorious Gordon Ramsay temperament which is synonymous with world class chefs.
If you are looking for an unforgettable culinary experience Izaak is without a doubt worth his weight in Saffron and Truffles !!!

Izak Haarhoff. Very few of the exceptional people you create this masterpieces for can call you a personal friend. I am one of the privileged few to have had deep conversations regarding your passion for food. The definition of flavour is.
Flavour is the sensory impression of food or other substances, and is determined primarily by the chemical senses of taste and smell.
Izaak understands flavors, more so than any other one I have ever met. Some get taught this skill hand have very successful careers in the food industry........ But see Izaak was born with this passion, understanding and talent. It shows if he makes a simple sandwich for his kids. It shows when he makes a lunch salad for himself and it will show when he prepares a delicate tasting menu for you.
Food u003d Passion, experiences, lifestyle and this is what Izaak Haarhoff is all about. I can't recommend him higher.

Firstly a great host.

The passion and knowledge he as for food is astonishing and his willingness to share it with people..

I've been privileged to have experience first hand different kind of cuisines he had prepared...

His attention to detail and creativity is astonishing and really makes it look like art..

His slow cooked pork belly on a braai is trully a must. You wont be disappointed...

We had the privilege of being entertained by Chef Izaak in June this year. What an amazing experience with a perfectly prepared 9 coarse meal paired with SA’s best wines, what an amazing experience with a super talented an professional Chef!!!!
