No hot water in the shower, kitchen always seemed to be out of something, would not allow me to eat food in the lobby despite the power being out in my room so it was pitch black in there, none of the wifi options they gave me at check in worked (you have to specifically ask for the WiFi password for the bar’s WiFi).

A real gem! Besides the spectacular atmosphere and scene they have a truly professional staff, almost feel like home.

Truly enjoy my visit and would recommended the hotel to anyone either passing through or looking for a unique experience and start to touring Johannesburg.

The have an amazing bar selection and even better music Playlist but what topped it all for me was that they recycle! ♻️ Very impressed with Ascot Hotel, will be adding it to my favorite venues u0026 regular spots.

I came to Ascot for a drink and ended up having a night to remember to a point where I spent the night there... where I was greeted by cleanliness, neatness and superb hospitality. Loved the way our needs and demands were addressed and met. Definitely a place to check out, I might just become a regular.????

Outside of Joburg surrounded by so many eatery. Place is quiet and safe, the hotel and staff are excellent, beds are comfortable well air-conditioned and the balcony is a plus,
