Terrible and unfriendly staff who are unprofessional. Give them a miss. They claim to close at 5, but cash up at 4:45 and refuse to make drinks. There are so many friendlier and more hospitable independent coffee outlets in Jhb that we can support!

Excellent coffee. Great vibe inside... Rustic and relaxed. Enjoyed the Mediterranean poached eggs with tomatoes... Think it was called the
Shakshouka. Great atmosphere and crowd. Very friendly staff especially at the counter that helped us order with great recommendations and service.

Description
Shakshouka is a Maghrebi dish of eggs poached in a sauce of tomatoes, olive oil, peppers, onion and garlic, commonly spiced with cumin, paprika and cayenne pepper.

Found this little gem on a recent walk about. Eccentric and the coffee, yes - the barista latched onto my sense of humour, yes the coffee was amazing and the best part was sitting on the side walk taking in the scene, the hustle and bustle. In the pick below, what has become a favourite, an almond milk cortado, double shot espresso. Coffee came to my rescue in a time when seeing the trees from the woods was difficult. The coming together of people through coffee is what drives me, to experience and provide the same to others I encounter. Good on you Loof Coffee, see y’all soon

Great place to have a coffee. The shakshuka we had for breakfast was outstanding!
Place needs an upgrade, is far too worn out. 3.8⭐️

A relaxed little coffee shop with a unique layout. We really enjoyed saying hello to all the other customers dogs that can sit with you outside. Coffee was good and the Rollo hot chocolate was brilliant.
