You know it’s gonna be good when the coffee shop is 95% warehouse and roasting.

Add to that the friendly service and a dedication to only African beans and you have a true coffee experience. Oh, and they have ALL the brewing methods.

Amazing.

We bought some decaf Ethiopian coffee for the afternoons and evenings ( wife can’t take caffeine) and it is so deliriously good. It smells like food. Which is a good thing, right?

Fantastic little roastery. Walking in and smelling the coffee roasting is wonderful. Drinking the coffee is even better. Make a stop the next time you're going past, you will not regret it. I also picked up a bag of Ethiopian beans. Going to try it as soon as I'm home. I hoping for good things.
Update: Damn these Ethiopian beans are good. Had to fiddle around to get just the right grind, water ratio and plunge with my Aeropress but it was worth it. I am definitely getting some of their other roasts.

Oh my ... this has to be my favorite coffee roastery and coffee shop by far. The coffees are all African, selected from high quality coffees on our continent. They specialise in single origin roasting although it is possible to get a blend every now and then. The roasting process is highly professional and the staff are among the most knowledgeable in the country. Their baristas love coffee and are passionate about delivering excellence in each cup. They also are friendly and welcoming, modeling that BeanThere is a"third place" where everyone knows your name.

What I love most however is their ethics. This is a company that practices justice. From their relational coffee sourcing, working with farmers, fair trade and other certifications to their commitment to paying living wages and their constantly seeking justice for their staff they set the example for how business can exist for the common good. They don't just talk justice, they live it. I love having conversations with the owners about how they are innovating in the complex environment they operate in.

They are just all round amazing!!!

Roastery with a little coffee shop. Nice fresh coffee with a few different beans to choose from. Good start to the day.
