Great place!
Super friendly staff, nice rooms, and great endowment. Pool Table; Braai area; Bar; big kitchen. The rooms also have heating and a fan (which is not normal in South Africa).

Very beautiful, lots and lots of stairs but comfortable beds, but a lot of the people staying with us reported allergic reactions / itchy skin to the extra blankets so there is that. I slept with just the duvets and I was comfortable and as I am prone to attacks so its something that I didn't react. Staff generally stay out of your way (which is a little bit of a double edged sword), lots of quotes to read, some books that guests have left, the place has a sense of humour and self discovery vibe about it and a fun history so you can walk around wondering about its mafia connection. The view from the pool is spectacular day or night with crystal clear water. Plenty of amenities and easy access to them, friendly helpful staff. Really comfortable for a backpackers. It had an Inn feel.

This is a really good place to stay. The area is good with pools, bar, open places to sit and enjoy food. Breakfast is great. You can even cook your own food.

Amazing service ,incredible food that can be enjoyed by everyone and very nice staff in all aspects Brown sugar was a very nice place to stay if you are coming in large groups

I was only there for a night due to a layover, but the service was great! Very friendly, answered all my questions and showed me around. The free ride was a great deal and the private room was nice. I left too early for breakfast but they made a to-go breakfast which made my morning that much easier.

The place is nice. There is place for the cars. It was just a bit loudly early in the morning.
