The halls are packed full of history and, while sad, it's still worth remembering where we come from as a country. Walking within this property had me not only feel ashamed of what our predecessors believed and did, but proud to be a part of the new South Africa. I'm eager to go back some time and see the rest of the historic moments caught within the confines of Constitution Hill.

The constitutional Hill is the most informative heritage site in South Africa for me,I learnt so much in just a short space of time. You get to feel like you were a part of the history too,you can hear recorded clips of what had happened in some of the jail cells and literally feel the torture and pain that the jailers went to..it's a great site to start at.

Having been given such a huge opportunity to execute u0026 exhibit my mosaic artwork in such a historic building made me feel the taste of transformation u0026 democracy.The artwork was opened officially by former deputy chief justice Digging Moseneke in 2010,thanks to Jane Lane former art curator at concourt,former justice Alvie Sachs for giving me the opportunity and the committee trust

Very good tourist attraction place, filled with a rich history of the country’s incarceration experiences that were imposed on black people.
