Dusk Till Dawn Backpackers Lodge is one of the best backpackers I have come across in my travels. It has a beautiful view overlooking the whole of Johannesburg. It is quiet, peaceful and beautiful. You can see a lot of effort care and love has gone into the whole place. It has a really nice vibe and good quality facilities as well as good security. The owners Pierre and Althea are awesome people and bring a great vibe. Dusk Till Dawn is awesome and I would recommend it to anyone passing through Johannesburg.

Immediately clicked with these wonderful owners. Never thought one could relax so much in Johannesburg. The views are amazing and one actually enjoys the bright lights of the city on display. The room we stayed in was clean and verycomfortable and the food was amazing. The pasta cheff really makes an AMAZING dish! Will definately be back.

A nice family place with very helpful and very friendly staff. The dorm is nice and the entire place looks pretty cool. It's a tad bit remote, but since this is Jo'burg and they offer shuttle services, this is not an issue at all.

I was able to book online , it was very easy to do, I needed a lift from the airport and dusk till dawn staff were waiting for me as I arrived , the house is very uniquely decorated, I was made 3 amazing meals , there is a gorgeous view that over looks the whole of Johannesburg, the swimming pool is perfect for a hot day, there is a fabulous bar that is always stocked up and cheap to buy, I adored my room and it has very reasonable prices!
There is an awesome pool table
A big tv and unlimited wifi
There is even a brilliant library that you can sit in and relax
Cutest most loving pets
There is over 1000 dvds to choose from if you just want to lay in you’re room and watch movies all day !
The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming
The owners are a delight, always in the mood to have a good time with you
I went on a tour that they offer you and it was just mind blowing- we went on bikes and stoped all over for a drink and something to eat on the way !
It has a spacious parking area
And it’s gated so it’s very safe, there is also a gard at night just to make sure you’re protected
There is also cameras!
My experience at dusk till dawn was second to none and I will never go anywhere else when I travel to Africa again
Dusk till dawn deserves a 10 star rating

Amazing views and attractive setting. Great hospitality and great service. People from all around the world visit, with offers and specialties not available anywhere else in Johannesburg. Highly recommended!

Family run guest house with great, happy, balanced, interesting, friendly people. The décoration is tribal/trippy. They have a fully equiped kitchen for self catering, large locked parking, dorms, "swimming" pool, and an awesome view of Joburg.

Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with super nice family. I had a great time there. If u love animals, they have 5 cats and 3 dogs...
